In our ‘Meet The Team Q&A’ series, we thought it was about time you got to meet another one of our talented craftsmen, Lawrence Brown.
Q. Hello Lawrence, so what is you do at Broadway Silversmiths?
A. I am a polisher, I polish the silver to perfection. I have been working on and off for Broadways for about 25 years, but I am back now and have been here for the past 18 months.
Q. Can you describe what it is like working for Broadways?
A. Well, I really enjoy what I do. I enjoy the job – I always have done. The people (at Broadways) are really nice, and there is a friendly atmosphere.
Q. What has been your most memorable moment working at Broadway Silversmiths?
A. There is too many to mention, but overall learning the job.
Q. Outside of work, what is it you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A. (Laughs) Drinking. I like going to the gym and watching Football.
Q. What is your favourite food and drink?
A. It would have to be the Wife’s beef stew, and drink… Lager.
Q. What words would you use to describe yourself?
A. Handsome and hardworking.
Q. And finally, if you met William Broadway – the founder of the company – what would you say?
A. Alright William, any chance of a rise (laughs).
